Appearance affecting my job interviews

Did you ever have rosacea? I've just been hit with it and for the first time in my life I'm having trouble with job interviews. I can't make the stress go away and I don't have benefits due to my untimely dismissal. Any ides?

Yvette's reply: Calvin, I'm sorry to hear you are having a hard time with your job search because of your skin condition. Know that you're not alone. Facial imperfections are difficult to hide - as a former acne sufferer, I've had my share of struggling my appearance affecting my interactions with others.

Rosacea is a skin condition that can mimic acne in its appearance. It is benign and often chronic. It's cause is still a mystery to modern science.

Since you are experiencing problems in job interviews because of the rosecea, I would suggest you visit a dermatologist to see if he or she can prescribe you something to get your rosecea under control right away.

Afterwards when you have more time and stress is not a factor, I would do more experimenting to see what may be causing your condition. Here's a few tips in the meantime:

-avoid alcohol, coffee, pastries, donuts, pizza, etc
-consume alkaline drinking water (ph of 7.3)
-eat more fruits and veggies

Good luck, and check back here often as I plan to have more research up on the site regarding rosacea.
